visited and photographed places in Puglia.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2008, the beaches of Polignano a Mare have always received the Blue Flag award, given by the Foundation for Environmental Education.<\/p>\n<p>Titled as the &#8220;pearl of the Adriatic&#8221; Polignano is the birthplace of famous Italian singer- Domenico Modugno.
